The Nordic Neuroscience Council

In 2023, the neuroscience-oriented societies in Finland, Denmark, Iceland, Norway and Sweden formally assembled a joint collaborative council under the umbrella name Nordic Neuroscience. This name had already been used for joint meetings and serves the purpose well.

The Nordic Neuroscience Council is composed of the Presidents of the national societies. Together, the Council coordinates joint scientific activities, supports early-career researchers, and gives Nordic brain science a unified voice in Europe and beyond.
